Visiting the website

When you open a page, your browser transmits technically necessary data to the server. The server provider stores it in log files:

• date and time of access
• the address requested
• amount of data transferred and status code
• browser type and operating system
• IP address

This processing is necessary to deliver the page and to keep the service secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in trouble free operation. This data is not combined with other sources and is not evaluated for advertising purposes.

Hosting

The website is operated at netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Deutschland. The provider processes the log data described above on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The servers are located in Germany.

Contact form and email

If you write to us through the form or by email, we process the details you provide in order to answer your enquiry. Only your name and email address are required, every other field is optional.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to entering into a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

Every enquiry sent through the form is additionally recorded in a log file on the server, so that no enquiry is lost. That file cannot be reached through a browser.

We delete your details once the matter is closed and no statutory retention periods apply. Commercial and tax law retention periods remain unaffected.

What this website does not do

• No cookies are set.
• There is no reach measurement and no analytics.
• No fonts are loaded; the fonts on your device are used.
• No maps, videos or social media content are embedded.
• No content delivery network is used.

Simply opening the page therefore involves no transfer to third parties, apart from the technically necessary processing by the server provider.

Linked websites

We link to other sites of our own and, where relevant, to third party sites. Once you click such a link, the privacy notice of the site you reach applies. Nothing is requested from those sites until you click.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to

• access to the data held about you (Art. 15)
• rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
• erasure (Art. 17)
• restriction of processing (Art. 18)
• data portability (Art. 20)
• object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21)

Right to complain

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the authority where you usually reside, or the authority responsible for the controller, the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta.
